Interim HealthCare Employee Referral Program
Effective February, 1, 2025, Current Interim HealthCare employees who refer a candidate that is hired into a position with any of our locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or our Regional Management Center may be eligible for an Employee Referral Bonus.

Details
- $1,000 Full-time Nurse (RN or LPN, RN Case Manager). FT includes those working 30+ hours average per week.
- $500 PDN Weekend Nurse (RN or LPN). Eligibility will be considered working a minimum of 32 hours per month.
- $700 Full-time Social Worker, PT, OT, or Speech Therapist. FT includes those working 30+ hours average per week
- $500 Full-time Nursing Assistant/Aide (STNA/CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). FT includes those working 30+ hours average per week.
- $200 Full-time Personal Care Aide/Caregiver. FT includes those working 30+ hours average per week.
- $300 Full-time In-Office. FT includes those working 30+ hours average per week.
Candidate Submission
Referral submission will be the on-line via the career site application and processed through Talent Acquisition. Other submissions submitted in alternate ways may have delayed pay-outs, all referrals must apply online. Employee can send talentacquisition@interim-health.com a referrals name and contact information for consideration or have them search for opportunities and list they were referred at: Recruitment (adp.com).
Who Can Participate?
All Interim HealthCare associates, except for HR staff, talent acquisition team members, and anyone who has an influence on the hiring decision for the role. Hiring leaders may participate as long as recruits are hired outside of their reporting divisions, and they do not have the ability to influence the hiring decision.
To Participate in the Referral Program, You Should:
- Have a conversation. Before submitting a referral, speak with the potential candidate directly about opportunities with Interim HealthCare and let them know what to expect during the interview process. Since our talent acquisition team will be reaching out to qualified candidates within 1-2 days of submission, we want them to expect our call.
- Submit referrals online via our careers page, encouraging the applicant to list you as a referrer. We want to make this process as easy as possible!
Program Details:

Payouts will be charged to the new hires branch/office cost center, will occur 90 days following the referred employees start date, and meet the work requirements.

All referral pay outs will be taxed in accordance with IRS regulations. Cash awards will be reported as income and taxed at the cost of the items.

The referring employee and referred new hire must both be employed, actively working in the past 30 days, and in good standing at the time of each pay out to receive the funds.

Bonuses will be paid through RMC Payroll via a Payroll Exception Request Form located in SharePoint – Finance area. Fill out the SharePoint form completely, once complete and saved – it will automatically be forwarded to Admin for approval. Once approved by Admin form will be automatically sent to RVP for final approval.

Payroll Exception Forms should be submitted after the 90-day requirement.

HR must be informed of all referred employees at the time of hire. All bonuses will be tracked by local HR, to ensure timely payout, ADP information correct, and the automated form will be routed to Admin and RVP for approval.

Payouts will be included in next payroll run (submissions after Monday will be the following week)

All PRN, part-time, and full-time IHC Associates that are actively working are eligible to participate by referring candidates to the program. Exclusions to this policy are HR/Talent Acquisition employees, leaders hiring for the vacancy in question, or those stakeholders who may directly influence the hiring decision.

All referrals must apply through the Applicant Tracking System to a requisition and follow the recruiting/hiring process.

Referrals should list referrer when prompted in ATS.

If there are multiple referrals for the same candidate, time and date stamping on application will be used to identify which referral was submitted first. In the instance that this cannot be verified electronically the preferred candidate will be asked to identify their referrer.

Referred hires must meet the job requirements of the role.

Referred hires who are rehires of IHC must have not been employed in any status or paid by IHC for at least 1 year.

This program is not eligible to internal transfers or promotions.
